So many beautiful
flowers in a row
waiting to be picked,
admired, & ultimately
whither in your hands

To die for, you are
in your mouth
are sayings
hypnotic,
quixotic
lessons in love
longing to be
taught & so
many willing
students attuned
to your senses
I am no different,
so where do I stand?

At a distance,
lost...

Sunkissed.

Sunkissed,

I like this and have many thoughts regarding it. Perhaps most wrong in comparison to your intent. Please don't be concerned if so, we are all at different levels of understanding and 'getting' the first layer of some poems, not even possible for me, sometimes.

Some may be at a distance, lost...I think they are wildflowers..pure-breds, ala, of natural...funny how we get confused between the value of genuine vs. hybreds

those as wildflowers,  can still breath the fresh air and sway in their own beauty...wildflowers don't die, they disperse their fruit and creation once more produces meadows of peace...

Anyway, my take on this. Ever looking for a positive.

You made you think, for sure.

Hugs you, Pat

Wow! I'm happy to have gotten this one reply. Last I'd check there were none. Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Trust me, I love your take on my poem.  I admit that the poem wasn't very coherent, nor did it have any real direction- probably the reason why it didn't get replies. However, I'm not complaining. I'm always happy to receive at least one!

It's good to be around those who are positive. Especially when one tends to tilt at the other angle. Having a variety of friends helps keep one "centered".

*hugs to you*

Perhaps time to move closer...
An excellent write!
