* * *

The shadows are growing longer
But I still feel the sun's warm rays
Today has been so lovely
A picture perfect Autumn day

I'm at one here in my garden
Amongst nature's finest flowers
A place I come to often
To wile away the hours

My cyclamens are blooming
Shades of crimson, pink and white
They love the chilly air
As the day turns into night

I have many concrete statues
On display around my home
And the cheekiest of all
Is my 'mooning' garden gnome

Everything about my garden
Brings me so much joy
From my beautiful Grecian goddess
To my adorable angel boy

The birds are frequent visitors
They arrive at dawn's first light
Then they bathe in the birdbath
Before taking wing in flight

A place of peace and harmony
A paradise of my own
My private Garden of Eden
Is right here behind my home

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue, this is wonderful!
It's hard to imagine it's Autumn in your country.
I'll bet your garden is beautiful!

SueTang~
So good to see the beauty through your poetic eyes.

We share such a love for the blossoms.
Drop into the Corner Pub and take a look-see at some of my roses~

Love reading you again dear lady~

Sue, I absolutely love your poem! That is what I'd call a Shangri-La garden! I would love to sit there with you for a chit-chat and soak in the energy and beauty of your special place.
In this part of the world we are experiencing Spring and in yours it is Autumn!---My two favorite seasons!

Luvin' hugs,
Linda
