Well, folks, keep your fingers crossed, an artist has been commissioned to make a mural of 4"x4" pieces [think quilt] of some 200' in length for the Smoky Hill River Festival in June, 2003.Photos, drawings, paintings, writings were asked to be submitted no larger than 4"x4", will then be transferred to canvas, and pieced together.  Who knows?  I may yet hang on a tennis court fence!

Beautiful Karilea!! Your country's flag looks like glazed hard candy, all swirling and gorgeous. lol. I guess I see things differently...still...I love this! Chris

Thank you Marge.  My toes are crossed [literally] as well.

Chris...glazed hard candy.  You know, there's a poem in there, when you put in the metaphor of the flag.  Glazed over with the sweet things of life; hard, in that we, too, in our short history, have grown to accept so much in the tempering of our lifestyles and ever-changing traditions; candy, in that this is probably one of the sweeter places to live that I know of; but then, I haven't been to Canada yet for a visit!

Thank you, Chris, for the quick poem!
