Whispers

In the middle of the plain a man sits down
whispering the story of his past
All alone, far away from town,
he remembers events happening so fast

As small tears near the ground
he recalls his wifes face
and the love they once vowed
now.. he can't find a single trace

For his wife passed away
carrying their unborn child
Though many times he did pray
the Lord wasn't mild

The woman he adored he'll never kiss again
And the child yet unborn won't lessen his pain
So he sits, and whispers the lines of his life
untill he finds a new goal wherefor he can strive

This is so, so sad!

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.
