There is a dream you once wrote Upon the broken waves Of the tumbling sea That is my soul. This dream spoke of a river in the woods Our soon-to-be spot Where our love will be free to expand And wrap around the strong barrels of the trees And beckon the faces of the flowers Out, and into the currents of us. It would be our love That caressed the grass Which would make such soft music... The whispering rustle Of our love. And it would be our smiles That would chase away the clouds, Letting the sun out To tickle our faces. This spot we will find Is unobstructed by the teeth Of harrowing humanity, Where love can breathe free In the air it was first created. You have such beautiful dreams. *Hey everyone, I'm sorry I wasn't able to read anyone else's poetry tonight. I'm exhausted and everything's crying out "MUST SLEEP!!!!" lol.
