~**~

Heart sounds floated carelessly upon the evening breeze
Melding in a dance of buds tipped upon the trees
Along the edges of the hour waving to the dusk
Settled with the springs sweet flower, fragranced by the musk

Lacy on the trilled retort of decorated thought
Free to ribbon in the fabrics glow of loose or taught
Beating on in twilight pulse, a mild soliloquy
Heart sounds joined across the ways in joyous reverie

Perhaps belonging in the air, perchance a last gone by
The sparkle on a moonlit eve, or simply just a sigh
The echo that rejuvenates in twittered evening peeps
Heart sounds on the run away, until remember sleeps
