Don't let that teardrop What's gonna happen when the music stops? Life is always passing too quickly by, And there's nothing we can do about it, except cry. Favoritism grows each and every day, While true love and affection die away. Shot down, and pushed around so many times, Everyone is beginning to loose their mind. Yelling screams, and anger burns. People's emotions are being churned. Happiness has left tired eyes, frustration has taken over. You don't know it, but you're slowly crossing over. Yet everyday, people keep goin', keep walking, And cry secretly inside while they're talking. But- Don't let that teardrop What's gonna happen when the music stops? People leave and people die, And there's nothing we can do about it, except cry. Love grows secretly in people's hearts unseen, And it makes 'em so happy, they want to sing. So just for a minute you feel happy, feel satisfied, And you forget that you're falling down life's long slide. What's it gonna take to bring you back to reality, Analyze your personality? These people cry themselves to sleep almost every night, And dream of things such as misery and fright. Feelings of loneliness and anxiety, Lost sense of touch, lost gravity. But- Don't let that teardrop What's gonna happen when the music stops? You loose, and get disqualified, And there's nothing you can do about it, except cry. |
