In Your Poetic Mind

{Then the clouds,}

Night pushes back the dawn
songs of angels
rise like floods on brilliant wings         of horizons

Let us take our fill of this night
when the air changes              blue with dusk
glittering         in endless circles

I look at this empty place:

where once we spent  nights  in conversation
A memory
       where gardenias grew
                                                                           vibrant   life

I’ve    given     your name to warm light
          inside flesh,    inside velvet skin
echoing        your peace  --   pressing   through
green

--

I keep your jade

with memory and love,  {hauntingly beautiful}

and  stories        of the sky

          touched again by rain

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine

I will remember you

L my sister of heart, it has been way to long and your words so sorely missed...
So lovely Lady,    as only you can do.

~ My favorite verse of the wonderfully written poem - I get a sense of nature in the form of a woman when reading this.

(smiles) Oh Lauren, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I believe the clouds always need to have rain one day or another for without the tears the soils of love can't grow fruitful! (kiss on cheek) Yay, I'm so happy to read your gorgeous imagety again, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
