Diagnosis Complete
~*Marge Tindal*~

I giggled at the sunrise on the early dawn
Chortled at the Dandelions roaring across the lawn
Chuckled with such obvious glee
at the giggle-schmiggles going on inside of me~

People are looking …
They’re starting to stare
I burst out laughing …
and I’m not even aware ~

I hurried to the doctor’s
whose names don’t lend themselves to rhyme …
and I kid you NOT !
So ‘Malick’ (I wouldn’t DARE) and ‘Guergues’ (see, I told you)
Please tell me what I’ve got !

I gave my symptoms to these doctors
they simply shook their heads
They put me under their watchful eye
scrutinized my symptoms and then they did reply

Said, “The diagnosis is ridiculitis.”
“The prognosis … it’ll be with you until you’re dead !”
“So be a good little patient and write whatever’s in your head.”
“Continue to delight us with your ridiculitis !”

They knew how to cure me
I was bending to their will
Then I simply died of fright … when I got their bill !

Now THAT was NO laughing matter~

*Life’s too full to dwell on the ‘not-so-great’ days*
*Reaching deep for the 'humor*

Oh galpal can I ever relate to this statement!

I copied it in HUGE letters and hung it right smack dab in the middle of my refrig. Now whenever I'm having one of those days, you're words will get me to giggling.

This was awesome ... hugs, Marti

What a cute, playful poem I wasn't expecting it, and that just made me laugh the more!

Laughter is the best cure for whatever disease ... and secretly even the doctors know, but fearing a loss of patients, they keep quiet and continue to bill .... for something as strange as ridiculitis ....
well, that was just FUN!
Thank you!
