Inside the shadow's shadow

"Every Now And Then"

...Tears are ever running,
They soak my quiet soul
And the salt assaults my wounds.
But every now and then
You make me forget
And I smile
And giggle
And the sound surprises me
As if I forgot I could.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Dear KoKo,
Oh this is so sad

"They soak my quiet soul" -Oh I loved this line so much, how you thought of this, wow!

Oh, but it develops into well, not a happy poem, still so sad, but into a smile, even if it is a short respite. Oh this poem moves me so much! Very beautiful write KoKo.

KoKo...yes, sometimes that is how Tim touches us...he can be meteorically beautiful in his writing, and then pen something so charmingly witty and funny that we burst out laughing at the monitor!  Thank you for letting others know what a talented writer he is!

KoKo,

This is delightful in that it does capture reality. Sorry, am not that familiar with his poems, but, I have had this happen.

Enjoyed, Hugs, Pat

I, too, am a huge fan of Sir Tim's writing!
I am certain that your poem, and the replies that is receiving, will show him just how much both he, and his poetry, are  appreciated!

Warm hugs,
EA

Oh man...hehehe I'm sorry. I was thinking this might happen last night as I was going to bed...I was speaking of my best friend Tim...Not the Tim here...I'm sorry! I do, of course, love this writings.
Oh man...I really should have explained that in the poem. I'm very sorry for the mix up and confusion ...

Smiling here...
I have to admit the title caught my eye, and was a bit surprised by some of the responses I read of which I am flattered.  But I am more jealous than flattered.  While he may have a pretty nice name, how can this Tim guy be so lucky to get poetry like this written for him.  Koko, your Tim is very fortunate to have you as a friend.
