The Longhorn is home
For a few bikers who play local games
With women who like to close their eyes
And imagine the guy touching them
Really might be that wild,
If only on weekends when they leave
Their 8 to 5 buttoned down collar
On a hanger.

It also plays welcome to the strangers
Who stumble on a dusty thirst
And find the oasis alone on main street
As the only thing lit after dark.

Mixing the two is amusing
Sometimes a bit bloody
But always coarse.

Last Friday night
A couple of strangers
Passing through on a construction job
Thought it would be fine to
Play pool for a few dollars
And maybe ogle a bit
While they sipped beer or shots
And talked about how Oklahoma
Was so much better than where they were.

One wouldn’t think
Accountants wearing black leather
Could actually find a bottom line
To add to or subtract from in a bar,
But they took measure
And found with the proper deposits
They could walk out whole
And debit a few teeth from
Others
Just on account

Yep,
  The women went wild
And accountants at least for one night
Knew what getting lucky was
And how lucky they were
It was a couple of girls coming through town
Instead of their brothers.

Bad boys....I used to like the bad boys...well, I will save that story for another time or writing...

Ron, you amaze me.  Where do you get your subjects?  Great job as usual.

Ron, how thrilled I was to read another of your magnificent and fascinating tales! Not sure this one goes with my cup of tea though.
