Cute write...are you letting your hair grow, though; some towers are pretty high?

I had a lovely old man open a door for me (though I don't think your reference here is an old man

last week and he was laden with packages....some have that built-in quality of old-fashioned manners and I love them...

the repetions in the end rhyme are cool.
rhapsody, reverie,chivalry, gallantry, capture me,etc
a whole lot of the same rhyme, and it gives it a unique rythm that is charming to the ear.
A nice, and sweet poem.

Hmmm... well, I don’t know about a knightly steed... but one time a girlfriend of mine jumped out of her apartment window (bottom story) into my Mustang convertible...

Her bedroom faced the alley!

And, although I wasn’t wearing any velvet attire... I did let her wear my leather jacket as the night chill began to set in...

Ahhh... thanks for taking me back BluesSerenade...
