Alone at night, can't help but wonder,
If dreams are like thunder.
The way they crash, and fall apart,
Or the way they tear constantly at your heart.

Never can tell just where you're headed,
It's the dreams that are dreaded.
How can you love someone that doesn't love you back?
Some that judges you, and talks behind your back?

You never know what you have, until you loose it,
You never know when dreams of mercy are headed your way.
You never know how life turns out; don't loose it,
You'll never know if today is your last day.

So many dreadful days have passed me by,
While I stand scared in the shadows, so shy.
The time has come for me to say,
That change is going to happen today.

There's so many things I dream of,
While never really knowing what I already own.
Why am I handing out all this free love?
And why does everyone look so alone?

You never know what you have, until you loose it,
You never know when dreams of mercy are headed your way.
You never know how life turns out; don't loose it,
You'll never know if today is your last day.

I can REALLY relate to this, so I'm sure that's why I like it so much!  Here's the lines that really hit home to me.

"So many dreadful days have passed me by,
While I stand scared in the shadows, so shy.

There's so many things I dream of,
While never really knowing what I already own."

Lots of emotion poured into this one - so much truth. Keep pouring so we can all enjoy!
