Renew me, oh Maia
See my fires
Built from a spark
From your own sacred woods
To light this night

Refresh me, oh goddess
Pass me through
My own needfire
Send me cleansed into summer
Naked and reborn

Twine with me, oh Flora
Weave my heart
Into your hair
With leaves of your Rowan
Make me your own

Encircle me, oh Dea
Dance my pole
With colored ribbon
In gay, gamboling steps
To quicken my sap

Love me, sweet spirit
Clasp me close
Within your yearning
Soothe our sore wanting
With the waters of May

You are truly a child of the Goddess...

I knew you'd have a special slant on this.

You invoke with rare knowledge, and reverence born of understanding.

There are subtle hints of rites in this--and some not so subtle--giggle? You've tickled a witch, yeti.

Get a taste of religion. Lick a witch today.

Ed, this is a very interesting write to me. My Gary calls me his "goddess" all the time...he says the initials for my user name, "GG", mean "Gary's Goddess" to him.

He loves the mystical side of things...wizards, goddesses, and really believes. Is there somewhere on the internet that I can read more of these things? He explains some things to me, but I would like to read more. Sometimes I call him my Wizard.
Do you know a link where I can go to read?
Thanks.
Hugs,
Ethel

Hi Ethel, I did a "Google search for ya. Here is a link to a general explanation of the Sabbats. (The one I wrote of here is Beltane)
http://www.tmwsmom.com/wicca/sabbats.html

And this link explains some of the references that I've made.
http://www.circlesanctuary.org/pholidays/Beltane.html

Just do your own search on what interests you
http://www.google.com

Thanks for reading, and for the interest.
