The Bonds Of Friendship The main reasons I write Was never to lose touch Should I curtail this activity Perhaps I wrote too much I write when missing you Which is most of the time Hope you will understand Emotions flow into rhyme I still read your promises Pity they never came true I'm aware of the changes Although I still think of you You became so very busy With not much time for me Maybe I should apologise For writing so excessively These bonds of friendship Hopefully will remain true I would not want to break Communications with you Hope©2003 |
