Of man, I speak in trickling ebbs of words
~*~Thine heart is like a sharpened blade
Forcibly to scrape the shadows from my soul
Then this, of porcelain skin in sin to trade
To him that covets power but a form in coal

Of man, I seek not empathy, not justice
~*~Thy fingers turn to icy fragments chilled
The hearth that once had bore such warmth
Then this, to capture but the surface scarcely spilled
And ever shall I cease the ships that wander forth

Of man, the bitterest of pill to slip upon my tongue
~*~Thy name is infamy, thy crest uncertainty
The light has left me now, upon baroque etern
Of man, then but be ever left the wisp of me
To him resolves the once, and each in single turn

(smiles) Hehehe, you and Barry must have been watching a lot of TV lately, that made-for-TV movie and all, yes? (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I much enjoy seeing Homer's magic come alive again, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Lady,  inspired by....hummmmm,  Nawwww, you
are the one that inspires,  so very well with each and every poem that you articulate
and share with all of us.  And this poem
surely does just that...
