In a single second you moved me closer
taking me back to the beginning
playing the footage from reel to real
fast forwarding to where we left off.

Shifting in my seat, uneasy being in the same room
I want nothing more than to lay my head in your arms
but can we ever go back and love that way again
would we survive a second time.

Or are we forever held in the pause
of a true story that never came to an end
pleasantly warmed by a lovers touch
swept up by the wind that carried us.

Our hearts trembling in reverse
as the summer stirs the grass
I long to view the vistas from every avenue
setting the scene, and make it come alive.

Capturing you in the moment
watching the movie from beginning to end
to better understand
the meaning of our love in the making.

Doggone! Your writing seems to have taken another large step forward.

Your pen is in a good place.

Smiling...

So much to treasure in this vision...
Couldn't pick a single line, for they all blend on the page in such a tender recipe.

(sigh) Oh Lori, this is beautiful, sweet friend, how wonderful it would be if we could see the memories like movies and fast-forward all we could! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Great verses Lori!  Was thinking about something much like this earlier.  You nailed it...

that's strange how you can write things I feel and think, certain things that happen...I could have written this but never as well.

Oooohhh I just loved the line, "our hearts trembing in reverse..."  *sigh*

I just don't even know what to say except this was a wonderful read, and I've been there, felt that. Beautiful, beautiful read!

There you go...I am now in full thought about him again.  In fact, so much so, that I feel a writing welling up in my soul.  You have inspired me!

Thanks wranx, that's a fine compliment, especially coming from you

TD~ What a nice thing to say, I'm a sucker when it comes to love stories.

Noah~ Memories are like movies, yes!  Thank you.

Pat~ Methinks I contemplate too much.  Reality is what it is though.
Thank you for the beautiful!

Duncan~ I figured I was not the only one, we may be
unique in our own right, but there are parallels in every human situation.

Nancy~ Thank you for your gracious reply..we've all had our share of heart aches, sometimes just knowing we are not alone helps to ease our pain.

Dixie~ I thank you for that, your writing feels the same way to me.
Hugs~

Thank you James Michael~

Seamaiden~ I too can relate so well to what you write~
Thanks, I'm glad you're here.

Well, maybe we can go back again after all,
I'll hold onto my ticket just in case!  Thanks tweets~

Ed~ Still life?  Hmmm, I like that. Thank you for enjoying the view,
I appreciate you.

Hi Patricia~ Inspiration is a good thing, I like to think it's part of
the reason we are here.  Thank you so much for reading.
