We meet our truest selves in
the eyes of our lover -

As the sun discovers its own light
reflected from the moon.

We are both in turn the sun
and the moon...the mirror and
the lover -

We are the gaze itself.

Falling in love...with all that
we behold.

Okay, you are definately in LOVE or something, and I'm liking it!  These pieces of yours just drip - WOW!  I'm definately looking for MORE!     I think what I like about your writing so far, is that you can say SO much with SO few words. Brilliant!

Ericc:

the first line caught me good but this is my favorite part:

We are both in turn the sun
and the moon...the mirror and
the lover -

amazingly passionate

Worlds unfolding in the depth of a gaze .... a lover's gaze, where only beauty lies.

The Universe of You

Lovers are everything to each other and you express this so magically.

Simply an amazing poem!

I wish I could write small poems...

All of mine are as long as a pole...

“We meet our truest selves in
the eyes of our lover”

“We are the gaze itself”

Classic!!

Bravo!!!
