Meadow

A meadow of winged monarchs
and bloomed out purple
withered upright
faded to periwinkle iris

I would bed with such color
bogged and drowning green
breezed with wild rose

Listened stream of riffled rocks
I am song too
--------

a memory from
June, 01, when I took a picture with my camera that had no film in it.  Still see it with the words, almost as good.

You could be a stone within a babbling
brook,  or some other small but so delicate
and significant thing....  Excellent write

Considering that the mental camera's yours and loaded with your words, yes -- it's probably better than a picture.

Green...yes, a good color -- and we do know that you are song. You show that every time you share a bit of your writing.

Well Martie I read your poem and this is what I saw, so may I share it with you as you did the beauty of your day?

I often go fishing without bait, and I sit there on the bank and enjoy the pictures that nature provides without the benefit of a camera and therefore leave the beauty behind when I return home.  Martie, your poetic camera captures beauty far better than film ever could.  Us non photographic types are fortunate you allow to view your pictures.

You are an inspiration
with every single word you write.

No film, that's so perfect!
What a great shot this is Martie~
