Safe at Mark Twain
Hulls do not scrape bottom
Or breach on hidden crag
Current lies around

On silver nights
      Ripples lead
But darker ones
                        Create need

To plumb

Sing out Loud the call
For Mark 1
We begin to crawl

Mark ½
   Is hulled

Would the words spoken
Lie any less treacherous
Than all the rotted logs
Hauled by flood to hang
On some slow bend?

Mark 1!
the call….

Starboard pull!
Heave all!!

Tensioned
      Tight held fist
               Turn tender my thoughts
Unfold

Mark Twain!
It is in ease…
Held breath released

I settle again to find
The perfect note
The perfect song

But my voice is coarse
And the night
Still young

the layers
          the depths
                    the waters rippled...

this goes as far
and as wide
as the 'Sipp...

quenching only those
who need to know...

(sigh) And we should be young with the night supposedly! (big hugggssssss) This is a wonderful ode, sweet friend, much enjoyed, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery.

And here, I've read a skillful handling of the "bloop" maker.

Then, there is deep enough.
But truly, how much deeper?
Because the lead can't find it,
doesn't mean it is not there.

*bloop*
