In night blind drift,
Reefed hulls askew on shore
Seem the wreckage fate so defined
For us
If soundings lie
And heads bob
To sleeping eyes
No more in toss
To find Mark ½
And steer starboard
For channels
Where currents have gouged
Deeper mud and sand
Leaving passage for one
Who is as heavy as we

So the slow gurgled sounds
On watered words slip
From lips no longer pressed
In tight lines
But pursed
As to almost whistle
  Melodic
       The times
I pass Mark 3
And find no bottom
To the black
On which I glide

No…
Light will ruin your eyes
And in losing visions clarity of shadow
See nothing of a looming snag

So whistle
    In darkness
         My song

Let me toss a plumb
And call
All Clear!

Mark 3

All Clear

only the slap of water
against wood
the only sound on ear

(sigh) I wouldn't want that rippling light to blind me either, I know that feeling and just want to see out in the horizon and think of the shores I'll see then watch myself keep between the buoys! (big hugggssssss) I love this journey with your words, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery.

I've read this series several times and while it takes a bit more thought than I usually care to follow...   it is a song I know well.  You do the course justice.
