Moved from a shack to a barn

You were nervous about this
Your debut

Though we had rehearsed your part
again and again
to ready you

You were equally
elated and anxious
about opening night

But finally,
we began the performance

With you costumed
in befitting white silks
and ill-fitting concern

The curtains parted
and I saw you illuminated
Bright
in the wash of my gaze

And noticed
That first, and only hint
of apprehension,
of your stage fright

I then set about my directorial duties
putting you through your paces
Cajoling, when you needed it
Stern, when you wanted it

Bending you to my will
to distract you
from my plunging past the barrier
that stifled your expression

Sighing your assertion
Then, letting loose your passion
elicited my own reaction

Your eyes widened
at my growled ovation.

Must have been some show!
What a brilliant script.

And the award goes to.....you!

I've got a movie poem in the making,
but ummmmm, I think I'll save it!

This was absolutely delightful wranx~

(chuckling)... Ed... now as the director you know proper preperation and planning is everything.... sounds as if the debut went well...

Enjoyed... and sounds as if you did.

There is nothing like a "growl" from the director to take away the stage fright. lol.
I so enjoy the way that you toy and tease with your words. Bravo!! Chris

Well, sounds like neither you, nor she! will ever be the same! Was there a repeat performance the next morning?

It appears as though the production came off quite well! Sounds like you deserved a standing ovation yourself!

EA
