Holy Waters

Where wild rivers run,
their songs are muted -
meeting the tenors
of the sea

listen -
as one song ends,
another begins.

Where rivers become falls,
explosions drum out
the beat of downstream walls.

Ahh! These sounds swirl about my poor  shack, from within thanks to you.

The river just outside is currently quiet.

Nice, Core

Love the sound of that!
Gentle and yet so powerful is your poetry.
Very pretty Corinne~

I almost missed this one...and it would have been my loss for sure if I had.

Thanks for this ... it reminded me of a place and a story... one i hadn't thought of in a long time.. so thank you.

Lovely...as usual. Another poet with a distinctive style...

One small suggestion...the double plural of rivers and falls is just a little awkward, something to think about..

(smiles) Yay! Oh Corinne, I love waterfalls and I always have that spiritual kind of feeling seeing the prisms and rainbows through the jangling waters! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery.
