To do or to be,
To watch to linger gazing
To hope beyond now

Not to do or be,
To walk from with eye hazing
Hopeless in the now

Where is the feeling
That would make me want to stay,
Where should I be now?

What is that feeling
That’s lost in the light of day
Where has it gone now?

To do or to be
To do not for lack of feel
To run from the now

Not to do or be
My mind racing from the real
Where should I be now?

Gloom

Great! Thanks for these. I find the concepts as interesting as being able to write so many...I must try these.

How is this?

Put my foot out hard
Stop my wretched spinning world
Time to rest awhile.

Hugs, Pat
