How this imperfect body cries.  When I read this word.  It takes the strength of all the lies
that I've ever heard.

To summon sorrow in my mind or have tomorrwow
as time to find.

If I've lived denial.
Does my touch defile?

How this imperfect body shouts when I take
my pen.  It takes the sum of all the doubts
that have ever been.

To summon desire in my heart for the fire
of my art.

If I've lived life in a cage.
Have I lived life as a sage?

This imperfect body dreams.
This imperfect body seems to
want the most imperfect night.

To be suited in delight.

Then somehow stripped of all the rage.
