standing on a shadow's lace

Gloss

no brushing color
shall ever fade
by the touch
your hand has made
melted hues
designed by fire
bleeds colors
of its own desire
longing tears
from canvas bleed
becomes a gloss
no pigments recede
shaded fabric hung
on silent wall
remains the palette
to color’s enthrall
