The mist envelops the predawn light
Muting the glow of morn’s twilight
The waking is a struggle to do
Leaving comfort of dreams in night.

Moist of air blends to coating dew
Blurring the windows to look through
Shimmering in the rising light
Brief rainbows with fleeting hue.

Gloom

So brief, so...
fantastical...
yet, it was real,
and for a brief...
moment,
within the grasp...

thank you, Professor...

Makes me want to put on a sheer, flowing gown and run around in the pre-dawns dew...if it weren't for spiders...

loved it!

Let me brush away the webs
Heavy with morning dew
And let you run
