Karilea!

This is lovely - how ironic
Just yesterday morning I heard chirping
and found a birds' nest in my porch roof
Was so pleased - this made me smile again
Thank you xxoo

The pics are so clear Karilea..

Triplets!  My four year old is at her father's house this evening.  Wait until she comes back on Wednesday...she is going to love this.  I can't wait to share the news with her.

How pretty... both words and picture! *S*

A pair of doves nested on my balcony last year... I got to watch the babies go from downy balls to UGLY pinfeathers to full flight. *S* This year, eggs were laid but deserted... don't know what happened.

Almost right, Karilea.  More like, "Portent of cat food!"  Other than that, and if you need a kitty to get kicked, it was pretty good and so am I!  heh

I'll take those eggs over easy with a side order of bacon.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

New life -- so exciting. I assume these are robin's eggs. There is a very fat robin who visits my St. Francis bird bath each day and has the grandest time splashing about.

Great picture and love your 'short' poem.
