“DANCE WITH SHADOWS”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Melody of the blues reach into
each soul, as candlelight flickers
on drawn shades lighting the
self of you, and I hold you close
dancing into the night, bodies
touching with intimacy, drawing
like magnets
the warmth of you to me…
Eyes gaze into eyes with passions
yet not unleashed, tempting
is the way you respond when we
are close, my fingers on hips
swaying with the
beat of a slow moody melody…
Silhouettes dance with shadows
on the wall, as a
tireless guitar sings out with
the want of needs,
then slowly the music dies,
as my being melts in the
arms of you with fires
burning inside me…
Bill,
Ever the romantic, this is almost delicate in it's sensual, sensitive want.  Beautifully expressed.
Hello Bill
So many wonderful images were seen through your most romantic words.  Your words are so uplifting and so filled with love.
"Love......
To melt and be like
a running brook that
sings its melody
to the night."
Take care......Sue
Bill,  Your writing is everything it could expect to be.  It was amazingly voiced and expressed a lot of emotion.  Perfection at its best
Bill...You have a way of igniting desire with this sultry poem of blues. I love the blues and I love the way this poem moves, its sensuous rhythms. ***Ivy Rose
Bill, slow dancing to the candle light...
how much better can it all be.
Brought some very good thoughts and
memories to this romantics mind.
Hey, I need to write a moonlit dance poem.
I love those, too.
Hugs,
Ethel
(sigh) Oh Bill, this is beautifully sensual, sweet friend, you seem to make the 12-bars multiply into 24-bars with the skipping heartbeats you bring your love! (big hugggsssssss) Splendid, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
