"The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that
you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here;
He has risen, just as He said." Matthew 28:5-6.

Behold, I Bring You Good Tidings and Joy
By: Noah Eaton
4/20/03

Crown Him with many crowns
Follow His lead, gather round
Every bird-hatching, cardinal spring
Let the paradox of faith sing

Through the rustling of wind in the hyacinths
To the birth of every little duckling
When lawn gnomes seem to cajole
In the sprinklers with porcelain angels

Harangue not, for we are fellowheirs
Fortune ones with revelations of balladeers
Through breadth, length, and depth
This topography of grace has no dimension

Follow the commandment, it is quite simple
Walk in the beginning, let the living faith be your disciple
Let the unspoken song be your liturgy
Let parturition be a relished festivity

Now’s the time to awake, to recompense
Breathe the flying colors in springs breath
Carry your renewed spirit like a haversack
Acquaint the youth and let the old friendships last

Behold, I Bring You Good Tidings and Joy
May His spring fill every void
Praise the Lord above
And live, breathe, and love…

And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery.
