Through With Love
4/20/03

I’m through with love
Oh yes, through with love
You’ll never see that twinkle in my eyes
Again

I’m done with love
Simply, done with love
Just throw my heart
Out the window

I’m finished with love
Completely, finished with love
Let my soul freeze over
Like a cold winters water

I’m over love
Very over love
Let my memories
Be covered with dust

I’m through with love
Oh yes, I’m through with love
…Or until you show me
That glow, again.

~*~I'm only a dreamer, with broken dreams, and only words to fall back on~*~

Dragon Mistress - I knew you wasn't through, just one twinkle, like you said...

you allowed a sliver
of hope...within...

We all feel this way at times but how quick we are to fall back in love again

Real friends celebrate in who we are and have faith in all that we can become
Lots of Love

Tanya, I said that, too, after my husband died. But, my Love came along and I am head over heels in love again. Neither one of us planned it, though, because we had both been hurt very badly in the past. We were best friends before we fell in love...and we are still best friends.

I enjoyed reading your poem. It had a playful feel to it.
By the way, I like your name. That's my only child's name, too, though it's spelled differently than yours. I picked out an odd way to spell it.
Hugs,
Ethel
