Walking down the dusty lane at dusk, brings
back memories of days ago. The days so hot
and dry, for no rain was to be seen.
The leaves are wilted and the ground parched
as I walk along kicking dust. Darkness is
blanketing the day as the whippoorwill
awakens with it's song of night.
Coolness of the night breeze stirs the wilted leaves
and brings relief from the scorching day.
Off in the distance a flash dances across the sky
with a murmur of thunder rolling behind.
I'm still far away from home.. Drops of rain begin
to sprinkle across my face as I increase my pace.
The dusty lane has turned to mud, the wilted leaves
have been refreshed, coolness has returned.
With my body drenched and muddy, I'm almost
home from my walk at dusk, down the dusty lane.

I had a sandy lane once
that I used to roam,
but it wend into a circle
and soon I found me home...

(sigh) The way I see it, this started out sad but became happy in the end, sometimes we just have to walk it off like our mothers tell us, and you'd be suprised at the results, absolutely zero down! (big hugggssssssss) This is rejuvenating, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Glenn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
