If you are so close,
why do I feel alone?

The same stars gently
touched by your artistic hand,
do I not see them?

The same sun beaming warm rays
upon my skin, does it not also
kiss yours?

At night, do we not share
the same moon?

Why then, my love
do I not feel you near, gracing
my heart with your presence?

I can only interpret the sweetness
of your lips, yes, wrap their warmth
around me until I again know
your touch...

friendship is unnecessary...like philosophy...like art
it has no survival value...rather it is one of those things that gives value to survival...
