Inside the shadow's shadow

0 posted 2003-04-19 09:56 PM

And in the swirling sea of emptiness
I called out your name
And the words seemed to crumble
Into powdery dust
And disolve away.

The swirling stars made me feel drunk
As I wondered where you were
How to get to you
Past this chaos.

Why you came to mind
I'm not sure.
Wouldn't God
Be a much wiser choice?

And when I fell back
Into this sea of blankets
I reached for you
Instead of thinking to thank God
It was only a dream.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Thank you QjQ and passing shadows!!!!

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.
