TAPESTRY OF LOVE

We have painted a portrait of love,
which hangs on the wall above.
Many pictures, of happy days gone,
have filled the family album.
I'm sure your diary is written full, with
secret thoughts and memories.
For we have woven our life into a
tapestry, with threads of love
and many memories of past.
We've not woven out the faults we
shared and our threads of belief in
each other has made our tapestry
of life interlaced ever so tight.

A picture of perfect love! This is a wonderful poem, and if this is based on your own life, I am so happy for you!

P.S.- I can see this poem in my mind embossed upon a plate of gold over a crackling, murmering fireplace in a happy home.

Now, these are lines
that touch a soul...

who doesn't have one secret,
written somewhere...
if even on one's heart...

Lovely!
