Sometimes...

I would like to live
in a make believe land
of my imagination
as little children do...

No worries
no pain too big
to be healed
by a simple kiss

Neeraja...A poem of simplicity and truth. Very well-written. Evokes thought and goes to the heart of the matter. ***Ivy Rose

I really like this poem. I think we all
have these wishes sometimes. I guess that's
why so many of us like to keep our
inner child close by, so we can act like
one sometimes.
Hugs,
Ethel

Yes, Neeraja...that would be nice,
but if we could,
we'd never leave
and who would fix our supper?

I do enjoy your poetry...

Amazing
how a parent's kiss
can heal all wounds...

then again...
kisses are magic!

*sigh* a simple kiss really does heal every kind of pain...even the kind we think we will carry for the rest of our lives....I love the way you wrote this...do not give up on such a fantasy for fantasy can become reality....
