Still in night
Although sun shines bright
Sees no light

A Tercet is any three line poem

Eyes closed by seeing
Too many sights blind my view
The light in now dark

the Haiku is the most popular form

I now can feel the darkness, seeping, soaking into my being,
Need not the sight of brightness, reaching, groping my way along,
Pulled by the melody of your song, a touch is more than seeing.

The number three is a popular number in poetry

Soft morn light
Shadows movement slight
Day's invite

Glistening in morn
Brings a smile to the sadness
Kept locked up inside

Breaking away from rusted dreams that please to tease the night.
Awaiting words of mended seams that ease and appease the eyes
Seeing through the darkness of you, drawn to each morning's invite.
