I was reflecting with my wife,
Of long agoes, a once was life,
High school years when first we met,
Boomers both, not adults yet.

The Beatles rocked and how we rolled,
In the sixties, 'fore we got old,
Long haired hippies; psychedelic,
Not yet thirty, not yet a relic.

I said, "you know, we still are cool,"
She replied, "Tim you're a fool,
A flower child? You best forget it,
My husband dear, you're a blooming idiot."

you can still be cool...although hippies arent quite the rage anymore, you can still be cool in my book, good write, keep up the good work!
