A Grace

I wonder, ponder, under glass
See through windows alas, alas.
This phantom is not hard to see
It stays my personality.

Born of common fantasy
Raised in poor reality
My senses sing out like a bell
Passing through a heaven and hell.

Smell the flowers use the day
Search through nights to find a way
Walk the shores a given time
In sync I hope at least in rhyme.

But age has fogged the glass alas
I stand a fork, which one to pass
I waver on the turn of road
Corroded, burdened with my load.

A niche for me an icons face
A wish that rides upon a grace

If I were asked to choose a road,
I'd watch the way of wayward toad,
then take the fork away from he
who would lead to travesty...

for down his road is dank and dim
meant not for me, but only him,
the fork of road is but a chance
to see which way the fairies dance...

for again it is my morning urge
to read the writes from which one's purge
would lend to me the ear of dear,
and keeps me smiling, close, and near...

You ponder now which road to choose ...
which path to take to shake the blues.
While I understand how forking bends can confuse ...
the way I read the clues ... you got nothing to lose.

You've been to the mountain top, seen it's view of true ...
You've sailed seven seas, know the secret of their hues.
You've walked thru war's hell and lived to tell ...
you've drank from the depths & dwell of wisdom's well.

You accept with grace the road rises 'till we reach until ...
it seems to me from here on out, the journey is all downhill.

Good morning Sy ... I am so happy to have tea with you this bright, beautiful Spring morning.

"But age has fogged the glass alas
I stand a fork, which one to pass
I waver on the turn of road
Corroded, burdened with my load."

I do not believe that age has fogged your glass much. You see more than most youngsters that I know.  When you come to that fork, take the road less traveled, for it is always the more interesting.

Hugs to you...Marti

(sigh) Oh Seymour, this is wonderful, sweet friend, grace is a part of us all and if we can just get out there and join the dance in the grand ballroom of life in general, we own its name! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Seymour - I believe that we all come to a fork in the road at different times in our lives. As long as the wind is at our backs, grace will carry us along. Great write to-day. Butter tarts? Yummy. I am sure Enchantress will brew us a fresh pot of tea. hugs, Chris

Whichever fork is yours to choose
One thing is sure, we will not lose
You'll find wise words to write and say,
Enlighten and brighten our every day
The mist will lift, the fog will clear
And your perfect poems will grace us here.

Your "senses sing out like a bell"
You make heaven out of living hell
You speak of life through your wise eyes
You bring to us the lost paradise.
