Stars dim, August morn, an early bird flies
My head is swimming with last night’s cries
Judgment, rules, negativities
Changes bring fears, ugly jealousies
Too weary to listen, I have to move on
I’ve spun into orbit, I’ve lived here too long

They see a glimmer of something they want
Next dancer, next lover, their elusive dreams
They carry their turmoil, and plant the next seed
And then cry to me about unfulfilled needs
Too weary to listen, I have to hang up
I’m still out in orbit, I’ve run out of hope

It’s one thing to say you have love, trust, and faith
Another to know it, when you’re out in space
Attachment’s entanglements, clinging, and then
Somebody lies…deception again
But liars move on, so skip the next stone, and
Remember to bless them, though you’re alone

Skies lighten slowly above the black trees
Where are the ones who screamed out their needs
What can you give yourself, what brings the dawn
Seek the skies, pay attention, the questions ask you
Ask yourself…ask the ocean
And listen for truth

September sun shines through foggy mist
My shadow, where are you, sweet compassionist
Giant steps lurching me backward and forth
What is happening, wait, I asked for the truth
Face in the wind and the salty sea air
Maybe orbit is my place and I could stay there

The rain brings a certain refreshment to earth
Clarity, focus, reflection and truth
They’ll see it and feel it, and know it in me
But some will resist, as for them it can’t be
I didn’t want to leave you behind, but
Intelligent is she who knows her own mind

Poetic and still, ocean and moon
Walk lightly, talk softly, the truth speaks to you
Souls cycle in love, love our constantness
Forgiveness, compassion, and true acceptance
I’ll love you forever, wherever you are, but
I’m staying in orbit to shine like a star

This was a highly wordy piece, and you made it flow so effortlessly. The imagery was incredible as you metioned the sea, sun, even space.
"...I’ll love you forever, wherever you are, but
I’m staying in orbit to shine like a star..." ~ and i quote you proudly !
Stop by and say hi to me, I will be orbiting the moon(and I mean literally of course hehe). I loved this!

I really like this "You are so "grounded" in your orbit.  Very smart lady!

Hello Kahlil

So many incredible images I saw through your words.  An outstanding piece of writing.

Take care......Sue
