This poem came to me shortly after 3:30 a.m. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! if you’re tossing and turning because the rumble is unceasing if the decibels are far beyond the depths of one’s believing if your bed of roses trembles from the thunder through his nose and the sleeplessness reaches from your head down to your toes perhaps you’ll find some rest with a change of attitude “he’s just purring” in your love nest like a cat who’s fully sated on his favorite food ©April 15, 2003 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
