Had I known how gladly
Your water would wash
the wickedness away;

how softly my transgressions
slipped down my cheeks;

how the blackness of my bitterness
and hate could be washed
spotless with Your
cleansing power, I

would have welcomed
the roughness of washboard,
Your cleansing forgiveness
tenderly reaching into my
hiding place.

Thank you for the living river
that you so lovingly provide.

jellybeans~
This is so beautifully penned.

"Your cleansing forgiveness
tenderly reaching into my
hiding place."

What a wonderful thought that is.
Nicely done.
Hugs,
~Vicky

You have just penned
a very special spot of you
somewhere deep inside...
that only the river may know...

well, I apologize for internet gliches, because I really did come (when I had more time) and type out a personal thank you to each and everyone here, and now that Justb comes and brings it back from the dead, I do not see my thank you...
so will thank you all, from my heart...
