The Clouds’ Desire

Clouds desire the world today;
they hover gently lower, lower,
as careful as a lover’s hand,
longing to touch our meadow,
fold them warm around
the curves of it, glide slowly
into all its secret places,
touching, touching everywhere
until it glistens moist and ready,
until the flowers open wet,
trembling with the touch.

Okay.... *G* I never knew something as full of moisture as a cloud could leave my mouth dry and parched. LOL Guess I'll have to blame my jaws hanging open and gasping for breath, right? LOL

Beautiful, sensual write! *S*

Ed...Amazing how nature can personify human emotion, and then say it in a cloud burst.

You must be from Oregon! Excellent write...

Now...this is as sensual a fog
as one would love to describe,
but usually cannot find the graceful words
to accompany the capture...

But you...

You wrote a

and by gosh, it had best not leave my library...
