~*~~*~
Why can't people just be happy for one
another in their blessings
and encourage them in their
sadness

Oh, if only this would be
would not life be so
much more joyful
and happy for
many more
people

~*~~*~

But until
then.....

We will have joy in the
discovery of the love
we finally have in
our lives

No-one can take the happiness and joy
from our hearts that
my Love and I
share

And we will continue to tell and write
about this joy that is
so real and genuine
that we want to share the happiness
and joy that we feel
with others

To let them know that it is
never too late to find
love, joy, and
happiness
~*~~*~

Ethel,
Why indeed. But then again who would ever give up that found love to satisfy their jealousy? NOT ME!

Excellent write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Your poetry of love adds love and beauty to  these seas of blue and I cannot imagine anyone not being very happy for what you have finally found in your life. You also give hope to those who have lost, or never found, love and that it is never too late to find joy, love & happiness in one's life. I LOVE the poems you write of your's and Gary's LOVE.

May you both have eternal love and light together...

Huggums to you two lovebirds!

Ethel,

I cannot imagine either, who would not be happy for you.

Sadly, the one who needs to read this most likely won't.

Hugs to you and may you always know peace.

It may be too late for some of us ole geezers. *G* But that doesn't mean we can't rejoice in your love... especially when you write so tenderly of it. *S*

It saddens me when people are like that....
I wish they'd open their hearts and minds!!!!!

I'm so sorry that I didn't respond to your replies to this poem. I didn't know that I forgot it.
I really do appreciate each and every person that reads and resonds to my writings. Sometimes I don't even call them poems. I thank all of you, though. All of you are so sweet and encouraging to me.

And, Bridgette, thank you for bumping me back up so that I noticed I hadn't replied to those sweet people. Thank you, too, for your sweet reply. I appreciate it.

Heart hugs to all of you
Ethel
