I checked my e-mail this afternoon,
There was a note from a stranger to me,
I took a chance and opened it,
You won't believe what I did see!
It said that he got my address,
Right from these pages of blue,
And how he'd searched for many years,
For a father he never knew.
I'm sure the process was lengthy,
As he was looking for a ~ Tom Jones,
Now it got my attention,
For that name my brother did own!
But Tommy only had one son,
At least that's what I'd thought,
Until I opened that message,
Then all I'd known went for naught;
Knowing his father had passed away,
He looked for family just the same,
From a three year old obituary,
He'd found a sister's name.
He put that name in google,
And read all through the night,
Till he found he could use the initials,
Which led him to this site.
The odds were not in his favor,
But still, he gave it a shot,
Tried the address found there,
Now a new nephew I've got!!!
I just got off the phone with him,
And can't describe the feeling within,
Truly a gift like no other,
Ron Thank You ~ again and again.....

True story, I just can't tell you what this is like...isn't this place just awesome!!!

That is great, and so wonderful for you and your nephew. The internet is amazing. Two years ago a search site helped me locate my missing sister. I think I have an idea how you feel. Congratulations!

Just incredible! Who said writing doesn't pay. LOL Congratulations. May you be blessed for this new connection. Peace.

My eyes are glistening with tears of joy for you as I am responding to your "awesome" experience!  God works in mysterious ways and I do believe that he has Ron on board as an assistant miracle maker!

Blessings to you and your new-found nephew--and thank you for sharing your heart-warming personal story! Isn't being a Pipster grand?!?

Love & Eternal Light,
Warm hugs to you both,
Linda

How utterly cool!

This place brings people together, lets people with soul things in common find each other and gives them a place to express it....but this one takes the cake....
