“LADY WITH A SMILE” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Her heart is one of some pain, yet her pen writes of romance, soft words flow from within, in rhyme with tender dance… A melody must be in her heart, for words to flow this way, if I knew how to say my thoughts, I’d ask her if she would stay… If the chance would once come, perhaps if only for just a while, the pain I would take away, from this lovely lady with a smile… ~~~~ |

You have got the sweetest heart. I was reading the replies to this poem, and someone said if more men and women had your heart, the world would be so much better off. (something to the effect). I have thought this so many times after reading your writing. Why can't I find a man with the words you have in your heart? Maybe, Bill, you are the only one on the planet.
