By My Own Recommendation

Pretend I did not exist
You will forget soon enough
Just remember the smooth
I will cope with the rough

I shall find the strength
Who needs people like you
When you need a shoulder
Remember I have a queue

I've been this way before
My heartsrings being played
Tunes and false pretenses
You're becoming quite staid

I have grown much wiser
Since being on the internet
The words upon a screen
Those players I will not forget

It's been seven long years
The queue is getting longer
But remember I have hope
My persistance got stronger

Fooled once , never twice
Lessons learned each day
Entering the school of life
The happy mixes with dismay

In climbing my weak side
Each day in determination
I have to believe in myself
By my own recommendation

This reminds me of those situations that you don't want to go through but you find yourself right in the middle of them...but somehow you know that no matter how long it takes or how hard it is you will make it through...James

thank you James , yes you are so right ... in fact I have just finished writing one of those "feeling used poems " so various situations enable me to put feeling into verse
