Rainbows
    A water droplet show
        A path to our shores
           A road to heavens doors
              Arched across the sky
                  Little children ask us why
They see dreams in their eyes
                        Future Rainbows full of sigh's
As the rainbow is lost in time
                             Dissipating from their mind
                               The dreams remain
                                  Leaving a reality of pain
Then a tear in the child's eye
                                       Believing in our lie
                                         A world left by us
                                           We answer what's the fuss
                                            They long for the rainbow
                                              We turn and go
                                               Leaving our mess
                                                Afraid to confess
The child looks up at you
The rainbow is arched around you
                                                  I love you dad
                                                  You cry and feel sad
                                                  The rainbows are dissipating
                                                  Their dreams are fading
We must help Mother Earth fight
Before the rainbows turn black and white

Talk about hard work! It is impressive and so well done. Congratulations...

I was sure I'd responded to this already, Insect!  I saw it when you first posted it, and thought you'd done an awesome job in both presentation, and sentiment. I adore this.

Best wishes and hugs,
