Be still my love, invest in me
sight your rhymes and all you feel
write a song of symphonies
crash your symbols close together
darling dance with me.

Draw me in your silhouette
hold me up beneath the stars
run your hands across my heart
serenade my morning blue
gentle as the wind chimes.

Blending shadows in water color
we'll paint a sunrise of our own
above the sky in shaded hues
beyond the forest through the trees
lying down in evergreens.

Come dream with me
tucked undercovers
quiet the sound of pounding thunder
still my fear and endless wonder
spill the moon across the sea.

~and let the music play~

BluesSerenade - the first thing I thought of when I saw this post was 'Blues', she really needs to write a romantic one. And I opened this, and behold my wish came true. This has got to be one of your best, and I hope it gets into the book. Blues, this is excellent...

Oh, I so enjoyed this. I like the second and third stanzas, especially.
I was going to mention the music, but that has been done several times.

Again,

enjoyed this greatly. Quite talented, you are....(you've way too much Grace to ever be tacky...it is a perfect title for the content of poem)
