There Are Times

There are times in your life when you feel you can’t go on
When you feel like every single strand of hope is gone
It seems that your days are full of nothing but pain
No matter what you do different, each is the same

Then as if by magic, you meet that special friend
The rain begins to cease, your heart on the mend
It’s as though your whole life changes, in the blink of an eye
Instead of the same dreariness, you’re met by blue sky

Life is full of changes, many ups and downs
It doesn’t mean though that smiles won’t replace a frown
It simply means hold on, for tomorrow is a brighter day
The best is around the corner, just keep believing and pray

The world is full of mysteries that you and I can’t understand
Sometimes it takes the presence of a special person extending their hand
To show you the way, on even the darkest of night
To a place that is full of sweet eternal light

So if any of you out there, feel like you just can’t go on
Like every single strand of hope is but gone
Think about these words, and in your heart just feel
That life is full of love and happiness, and your heart will begin to heal
